Every year, Filipinos enjoys a long weekend on lent during the start of the dry season. Flocks of Manileñios are going out of town for a short vacation from the hectic life of the metro. Some are visiting their provinces where they came from. A few are going to mountains nearby to spend a penitence. A lot are going to the beach and have fun. However, I spent mine to visit my family residing in the nearby province in the south Luzon.

It was the first time I see the place filled with green grass this wide. The wind was perfectly blowing smoothly from the lake. I can’t get enough of the feeling.

Of course, we had a little food trip. 🙂

I was so happy that I was able to spend time with my family that day. It was indeed a simple joy for me and for my family.

Although the bay is facing the east, I was still able to get a nice view of the golden hour. Or should I say, it was the skies?

There were children who fly their kites that time. However, I wasn’t able to capture them after my camera dies.
